Basic safety, function, accurate operation (firing), cleaning, maintenance and storage of semi-automatic pistols.  Explanations of effective use and parameters are explained.  Recommendations regarding holsters, accessories and options are made as requested.

Requirements: pistol, one magazine, 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection (can also be reserved for purchase at training) and appropriate clothing- crewneck or collared shirt, short or long sleeved, close-toed shoes.

There is no firing from a holstered position in P1 training.  Refer to Advanced Pistol // P2
